While this is great in many ways, one can’t help but wonder how many website users actually click to play the video, how many will play the video halfway and navigate away before getting to the ‘good or catchy’ part, how many will leave without playing or even noticing the video.

Having an introductory or content video background that plays automatically gives you that assurance that website users and visitors can see that video whether they click play or not. A background video will definitely explain your business and offers much better than banner images or texts.
As great an exciting as background videos are, you should not rely solely on it. In addition to a background video on the website, you should also add a content (embedded) video within the web page because background videos might not play on certain devices and browsers. Another reason to use a content video in addition to background video is that while the length of a background video should be 15-30 seconds maximum for positive effect, content videos can be more without having a negative effect.

Unlike most website builder platforms, weebly makes it very easy to integrate a background video into any content section within a page. All you have to do is drag and drop the section element to where you want it to appear, click on it to choose background color, background image or background video.
