A couple of months ago we discontinued “Admin Dashboard” which was one of the unique features of our weebly themes. The reason for the discontinuation was to redesigned and improve the dashboard to look and function much better.
After months of hard work, we are very excited to announce a re-introduction of the dashboard. We’re in the process of updating our themes with the new dashboard but our new themes and recently updated themes already have have the new dashboard.
There’s more…
The new dashboard (unlike before) now makes it easy to build and organize additional content sections all in one place.
One of the most lovable feature of the new dashboard is ability to build additional content sections such as additional contents for mobile (toggle) menu, ability to build popup contents for themes with popup, slider image uploads, etc.
In addition to the main dashboard, we’ve also added a GET STARTED dashboard that briefly informs you what to expect from the new theme, how to customize it, resources to use and tutorials to look at.
How to Activate Builder Dashboard:
- Create a new page, call it Dashboard.
- Under HEADER TYPE, select Z-Dashboard – dashboard appears.
- Check “Hide in Navigation”.
- Click SEO settings, check “Hide this page from search engines”.
Follow instructions to build needed content sections.
To activate GET STARTED dashboard, follow above steps but under header type, choose Z-Get-started instead.
There’s no reason to worry if you can’t find the dashboard on your theme because some themes have not yet been updated with the new dashboard. You’ll be notified once a theme you purchased has been updated.
