I installed a theme and then realize that some of the contents on my website are missing.
This will happen in cases where before installing our theme your website was using another custom theme, not a theme from weebly themes gallery (default weebly themes).
The reason for this is that custom themes like ours have built-in custom content sections while default weebly themes have one main content area. Every content, including section elements are added to the main content area of default weebly themes, whereas custom themes have multiple custom content sections holding different kinds of contents.
The important thing to note is that although you cannot see some of your contents, they are not gone.
You can easily get them to show again:
- Click theme, click change theme.
- On custom theme tabs, choose the theme you were using before installing our theme.
- You should now see those missing contents. Drag and drop them on weebly main area (add a section element and place those missing contents there).
- Go back to theme > change theme > custom theme tab and choose our theme (that you want to use).
You will notice that those missing contents are now brought over to the new (our) theme that you wish to use. You can now start re-arranging those contents and placing them where you want.
Take Note: This will not happen if before installing our theme you were using a theme from weebly themes gallery (default weebly themes). In this case you will see all your contents without anything missing.
