I can’t drop section element on a certain area on a page. I can’t add section element to a particular page.
The weebly section element makes it possible to add multiple content sections and style them with background colors, images, gradients or background videos.
There are header types that do not support section element or particular sections of header type that doesn’t allow to drop section element above or below them.
Header types that do not support section element
In our themes, section element is disabled on certain header types because it doesn’t make sense to have them there. Header types for plugins, custom content blocks, etc. have section element disabled. If you cannot add section elements to pages with these header types, it’s because they are not possible.
Page sections that can’t have section element above or below
This is usually on landing pages (like the homepage) with custom content sections. The section element is a block on it’s own and sections are added consecutively above or below each section.
When custom content sections are built into an header, if the custom section is added above sections block, it makes it impossible to add a section element above that custom section. If the custom section is added below sections block, it makes it impossible to add a section element below that custom block.
Take note section element is not supported in weebly blogs and store pages.
